Application Forms
Application Procedures
To apply to any of our courses, simply download an application
form and return it to us with the relevant supporting
documentation. You will find a check list of the documents you are
required to send in alongside your application on the last page of
the form.
Admission to each programme is based partly on your application,
and partly on an interview that you attend with a Programme
Director/Course Leader here at the School. Once we receive your
application and it has been approved by the Programme
Director/Course Leader, we will be in touch shortly thereafter to
schedule your interview.
Applicants are usually notified of the result of their interview
within a week.
Please note, interviews do not apply for all applicants to the
Foundation Course in Psychology, the BSc (Hons) Psychology and the
BSc (Hons) Psychology with Integrated Foundation. Only borderline
applications to these programmes will be invited to attend an
interview.
References
Details regarding how many references you are required to send
in, who might make an appropriate referee, what they should
include in their reference, and where they should send their
reference are included on the application form and the
individual course pages. At present only
our MA/PGDiploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling and our
Professional Doctorate in Existential Phenomenological Counselling
Psychology (DPsych)have official reference forms for referees
to complete.
Please note that it is your responsibility to request
references. SPCP is unable to request references on your behalf.
For most programmes, we are also unable to schedule an
interview for you until all of your references have been
received.
Deadlines for Applications
We do not have formal application deadlines for any of our
courses at SPCP. However, as places on each programme are limited
and are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, early
application is advisable to avoid disappointment.
Passport Photographs
As part of your application, you are required to send in a
recent passport-style photograph. Please click here for guidelines and
information on how to email your photos.
