Foundation Course in Psychotherapy & Counselling / Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling*

Start Dates & Fees

One-Year Courses

The one-year course consists of one 4-hour session per week across three 10-week terms. We have intakes for the one-year course in January and September, where applicants can choose between: 

September 2012

  • Monday morning classes: 10:00am-2:00pm (Start date: 24th Sept)
  • Monday evening classes: 5:30pm-9:30pm (Start date: 24th Sept)
  • Saturday morning classes: 10:00am-2:00pm (Start date: 29th Sept)

January 2013

  • Tuesday evening classes: 5:30-9:30pm  (Start date: TBC)

Intensive Courses

The next avaliable intake will be:

Summer Intensive Course (Start date: 23rd July 2012)
5 weeks, full time, Monday to Friday

Future Intensive intakes include:

Autumn Intensive Course: (Start date: 19th Sept 2012)        

Week and weekend modules: 10.00am – 5.00pm

Winter Intensive Course: January 2013                

Weekend modules: 10.00am – 5.00pm

We have four intakes for our Intensive programme every year. As each Intensive programme has a slightly different structure, please contact our Admissions Team for precise course dates.

Course Fees

The fees are the same for both the Intensive and One - Year Courses.

As the SPCP is a private institution, all students pay the same fees regardless of nationality.

Please note, application fees are payable upon application and are non-refundable. All fees are quoted in GBP (pound sterling). Fees are updated each academic year and will be subject to a 4% or inflationary linked increase. Fees are also reviewed from time to time and may change from those listed. SPCP reserves the right to make such alterations or amendments as necessary.
