Biography

Amelia left university and went straight into advertising sales, working for a multi-national women’s magazine company, eventually becoming a group sales manager. She then went on to become a publisher for two years. Amelia then ran her own business importing goods from Italy and selling them in her own shop, also taking time off to raise a family. She started the Foundation course in psychotherapy and counselling in 2005 and was fully qualified in 2010 and did her placement training in secondary care mental health in the NHS where she still does one day a week in the Barnet complex care team as an honorary psychotherapist.
