Biography
After many years in the arts, Bernie retrained
as a psychotherapist at Regent’s College, where he graduated in
2005. From 2001 he has worked in private practice and voluntary
counselling and taught counselling skills in a FE college. From
2005 Bernie started work as a Visiting Lecture at Regent’s College
and increased his private psychotherapy practice. He is also
currently working on paintings which are connected to his work as a
therapist.

- Co-researcher since 2007
- Ongoing research into ‘relationship’
- Examination of professionalism, its meaning, epoche and what is
a moment of inspiration, with reference to my work with clients,
supervisees and students
- Process in non verbal communication through the visual arts and
its implications for therapy.
